I manage of team of professional Sales Engineers who provide direct Pre-Sale technical support to the Sales Team. As a team or individually, we develop cage designs for potential customer equipment, verify AC and DC power budgets and perform HVAC heat load calculations for new equipment. We work closely with new customers to present a technical perspective on the company\'s sales offering and provide alternative solutions as required to meet unique end user, component or installation criteria. Telx Sales Engineers assist with development of customer presentation tools, present and review schematics/drawings and provide logistical and technical support with prospective customer meetings and presentations. My current role requires a comprehensive understanding of component, network, and infrastructure technologies and the ability to maintain an information archive of relevant industry information. Additionally, I help develop Sales and Marketing strategies for key vertical market segments, provide company representation in industry forums, conferences and related events and communicate with diverse internal departments to insure accuracy and timeliness of solution delivery to individual end users. I help develop and implement product, process and application training programs for the Sales organization.
