About Greg Schwartz

With purpose driven objectives while fostering student engagement, building relationships, and collaboration, I have had great success transforming schools reaching learning goals; facilitating positive mentoring opportunities, and spearheading positive working environments.Starting my career with Volusia County public schools in 1996, I have worked in several roles as a full time teacher and coach. After completing my Masters in Educational Leadership, I was promoted to Assistant Principal at South Daytona Elementary. In 2016 selected for the Principal Intern program. Furthering my experience at Pine Trail Elementary. In 2017, I was promoted as the Principal of Pathways Elementary School in Ormond Beach, Florida. In 2019, I graciously took the helm of South Daytona Elementary followed by Flagler Palm Coast High School. Over the course of 25 years in the field of education. In each role, I have enjoyed engaging with the students as well as fellow staff members. I enjoy deep sea fishing and spending time with my large extended family. As a father of three children and husband, I have been an active volunteer coach in youth sports in my community. I pride myself on being a level headed, enthusiastic, active member of the our local schools and community.
