About Greg Schotte
I am a Software Engineer and a degreed Mechanical Engineer with several years of design and software support experience. Through working as a software applications engineer, I would assist users in getting the most out of their design tools (software and hardware) through teaching, tech support, and on-site consulting. After working in this area for a while, I found that I wanted to be not just a consumer of software solutions, but a creator as well. I love software design because it combines my prior experience with logic, mathematics, and engineering strategy with a chance to be creative and find clever solutions for each unique project. I’m looking forward to find a new role where I can use the engineering side of my brain to support my passions of art and music, building tools to bring joy into the lives of everyday users.
