About Greg Miller
I am a successful business partner and believe this is a way of thinking and a mindset for problem-solving. Business partners focus on relationships, are forward looking influencers, and shape strategy while understanding the commercial environment. Being a business partner is my passion. My current role is Director of Compensation for S.C. Johnson & Son Inc, a fast moving consumer goods company, where I am responsible for designing and administering key variable pay compensation programs across SCJ, including support for newly acquired companies. I continue my successful journey within Total Rewards after supporting multiple global Business Units over the last two years and delivering enhanced simplified compensation programs. My previous role was in Corporate Development / M&A where I was responsible identifying, analyzing and helping execute global acquisitions and divestitures. This is an amazing opportunity to partner and lead cross functional teams in business plan developments, drive and advance contract negotiations and gain internal alignment of terms. I received an Officers Award in December 2021 recognizing significant contributions that have not only exceeded expectations but have also substantially enhanced the performance of the company and/or substantially strengthen the company’s image. Prior to my those roles, I was fortunate enough to relocate with my family to Bentonville, Arkansas for two years as the financial manager for Walmart, overseeing SCJ’s largest global account during the pandemic. Business partnership was critical creating solutions and navigating the numerous unforeseen challenges. We adapted as a team to exceed our commitments: Delivered $12MM of trade-rate budget surplus Mitigated $10MM of supply chain fines Aligned a new eighteen-month strategic growth plan for joint organizational success Protected existing distribution and launched incremental new products and displays for growth My last two roles are examples of the leadership and partnership demonstrated throughout my twenty- year career with successful partnership roles in: M&A Manufacturing Global Marketing Strategic Projects Operations Treasury Global Contracts and Price Sales Finance Research and Development Informational TechnologyOutside of my career, I believe in sharing my talents and I am currently the Treasurer for the Racine Yacht Club, where I enjoy sailboat racing.
