About Greg Matthews

As president and CEO of Cushing Terrell, I’m fortunate to lead an incredibly talented team of architects, engineers, and design professionals. We pride ourselves on always improving, and even call this out in our vision statement:“To shape a new world using knowledge and creativity as a means to educate, enlighten, delight, unite, preserve, sustain, and forever improve.”To me, this means being open and adaptable — knowing when to change direction and when to stay the course. It also means retaining the knowledge of the past, while continuously learning. We’re guided by an awareness of the world around us, ensuring what we do is responsible and provides a greater societal benefit. With over 30 years of experience with Cushing Terrell, I previously served as co-lead of the firm’s healthcare design studio, and this has given me a keen sense of how much people matter in the design equation. Our team members, clients, and partners are my top priorities as we strive for excellence and have a lot of fun along the way!
