ABOUT GREG LIOTTA

30 years post-Masters experience creating a broad, eclectic career as an adolescent therapist, cultural sensitivity facilitator, addictions counselor, Intergroup Dialogue facilitator, yogi, men\'s work leader, leadership development specialist, and trauma-sensitive, somatic experiential retreat leader. My foundation is a deep commitment to my own personal, emotional and spiritual development as a platform for offering high quality service. I operate from an \"inside-out\" model and bring that sensibility to organizations. My professional trajectory has been grounded in the idea of embodying spirituality in the broadest sense, as evidenced by my capacity to show up fully aligned with my highest principles, and my commitment to helping others join me in that. My clinical approach is heavily influenced by Gabor Mate\', Dr. Bessel von der Kolk, Ron Kurtz, Janina Fisher, and other luminaries in the field of healing trauma. I am also trained in neurofeedback, HRV technology, HeartMath (the connection between the brain, nervous system, and the human heart). I am a Certified Experiential Facilitator with a grounding in trauma-sensitive somatic healing modalities, incorporating sensorimotor psychotherapy, Hakomi, IFS, psychodrama and bio-energetics. My primary gift shows up in my capacity to design and facilitate elite quality trauma-sensitive experiential retreats - such as the Healing Heart Experience (The Last Resort Recovery Center, Smithville, Texas) including training and guiding a staff of professionals or para-professionals as well as experiential group facilitation. As an independent contractor, I offer this service to a variety of professional settings.
