About Greg Jordan
I love helping people, whether they are clients, members of my team, stakeholders or cross-functional co-workers. I work hard to do what I can to help with their problems. Zig Ziglar (a former client) had a great way of saying it,\"You will get all you want in life, if you help enough other people get what they want.\" I have used that philosophy to success in sales, project management, technology implementation, management and administration. I have helped a business incubator implement SalesForce as a customer management system and implemented policies that helped to comply with University guidelines that had been hampering their day to day operations. I have consulted with large companies and small with human resources and technology implementation. I love to help people succeed and believe that removing roadblocks to success is a manager’s first job. I love finding creative solutions to complex problems. I believe the people make the project. My philosophy is to seek out, hire and train the best people, treat them well and remove barriers to their success. Then get out of the way and let them astound you. I love to write both in work and in my personal life and have learned to write project reports that succinctly get the information across to all audiences, most recently federal funding partners. I love data and have become adept and providing data summaries to audiences that are easy to quickly understand and act upon. I recently got the PMP certification but I have managed projects for most of my career. I worked with more than thirty grants totaling over $20 million. Each required a formal application, financial monitoring, managing contracts, vendors, reporting, and specific goals. I have been responsible for increasingly larger budgets throughout my career and have developed processes to assure that my projects are, on time, within budget and meet or exceed their goals.
