As part of the subcommittee for evaluating WST formats and judging the primary importance is to look at the creative elements in structuring competitive formats and judge systems. Worked to enhance the development of the SLS (snowboard live scoring) in slopestyle and halfpipe. Active in always trying to find an imaginative way to help the riders express their runs to the public and to the media while giving them the freedom of expression. Coordinates with the WST judge director on training for the judges world wide as well as soliciting information from the riders on the avenues to make judging more clear and transparent. Involved in assisting in the development of judging formats including the progressive formats of jam systems and heats used in competitions for both halfpipe and slopestyle. Help develop new and innovative technology for video judging platforms for slopestyle and halfpipe which focuses the judges to evaluate riders runs in a more clear and concise manner while giving maximum information to the riders.Significant Areas:In 1998 with Tom Wagener (GER) started the International Judges Commission (IJC) a non-profit 501 C-3 educational organization to train and educate judges world-wide.Started and developed the Vail \"Session\" event from the competitive side as well as been instrumental in designing formats for the \"Vail Session\", the Burton US Open as well as the Burton Global Open Series.Event Experience:Judging and Head Judging, Technical Supervision, Competition Direction, Competition Development
