Teams I have developed and managed have always been directed to understand working within the realm of informative media is not a job, it is a way of life. As a news manager and correspondent I developed a definition of news early on:\"news is that which effects the greatest number of people at any given moment, or that which you can make effect them\". You get the maximum number of consumers of your product, and therefore you inform the greatest number of people. The altruism is served as is the commercial venture. As a very young program director and general manager I accepted early on that \"the way we do things here\".can often be traced to low productivity and low profit. One example is a station on the Canadian border that refused to market and sell in Canada for nationalistic reasons. The population on the immediate Canadian border was 4 times the USA side. Legally we could not hire full time employees in Canada. The solution was a team of women who only wanted to work part time from home. They all sold and marketed/promoted the station. The owners hated it until we tripled billing in one year. My proudest accomplishments are those of young people who either interned with me, worked with me, or trained on my teams who went on to do great things. Specialties: Finding and communicating common touch points to increase traffic for a product whether that product be information or ideas. Working with a team to create, enhance, and develop new ideas for better ways to do business. Landing in the middle of a SH#T storm and turning it into a profitable environment. I am a \"D\" licensed or \"Expert\" skydiver with 3500 jumps. Also Jumpmaster Advanced open water SCUBA through PADI I also am a licensed multi engine and seaplane pilot.
