I have built a custom monitoring system for monitoring SQL Server performance while monitoring over three hundred SQL server instances- More than 25 years experience in the Information Technology field- Experience includes support on the following versions of SQL Server: 2005, 2008, 2008R2 2012 and 2014 including clustering, mirroring, vmware and data replication- Vmware experience- Support of production database services to ensure the highest standards of availability, resilience, integrity, security and performance required by business systems- SQL Server system management – setting up new databases, adding disk space to existing databases, re-building fragmented indexes - Install, configure, upgrade software and apply updates to maintain client environments - Setting up and managing automated backups - Setting up and managing scheduled database jobs - Performance tuning and database optimization - Monitoring of network, database, hardware, application and system performance - Expert problem diagnosis - Developing SQL and Transact SQL scripts - Back office Sharepoint Support- Capacity planning - Provision of support and assistance to development team in the design, development, testing, tuning and implementation of database applications - Provisioning of database development and testing environments - Assist Quality Assurance, IT and Technical Support staff as required, to resolve both internal and external client issues- Ability to work during non-business hours including weekends and holidays, as needed
