As a General Manager at Homeward, I lead the end-to-end strategy, execution, and profitability of a large real estate portfolio. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, I hold full P&L ownership and am responsible for driving performance on acquisitions, make ready, property sales and optimizing operational efficiency through cross-functional collaboration.My role centers on making strategic and data-informed decisions to maximize profitability, including overseeing the purchase of properties, managing renovations, listing execution, maintenance of our investments, and ensuring all homes meet Homeward’s quality standards. I partner closely with Sales, Operations, Finance and Market Sale Agents to identify risk, shape market strategy, and accelerate the transaction lifecycle from acquisition through sale.Key Responsibilities:Own and manage a large, multi-state portfolio of real estate inventory with a focus on profitability and turnaround time.Analyze property performance, approve purchase offers and manage expenses to meet or exceed financial targets.Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to inform listing strategy, risk mitigation, and execution.Provide direct oversight and strategic input on at-risk properties, including listing adjustments and disposition decisions.Drive adherence to Homeward’s inventory playbook and core values.Homeward is a fast-paced, remote-first proptech company offering innovative financial solutions such as Buy with Cash, Buy Before You Sell and Sell Before You List.
