About Greg Hewitt
Greg Hewitt is a human-centered design leader serving as Executive Director of Innovation at Cone Health and CEO of Cone Health Ventures, LLC. With a Master’s degree in Design Management from the Savannah College of Art & Design, Greg has spent more than two decades shaping innovation strategies for some of the world’s most recognizable brands—spanning consumer goods, food and beverage, sports and entertainment, and pharmaceuticals—across North and South America, Europe, and Asia. In 2017, Greg turned his focus to one of society’s most complex and consequential industries: healthcare. Motivated by a deep-seated dissatisfaction with the status quo and a conviction that care experiences should feel as human as they are clinical, he has since led the charge to embed a culture of innovation and design at Cone Health. At the heart of his work is a mission to make the health system more attuned to the people it serves. His team has equipped leaders across the organization with a design reflex—supporting initiatives that rethink care delivery, strengthen employee experience, and reimagine the role of digital tools in people’s lives. Most recently, Greg’s passion for creating a distinct and meaningful brand experience is taking shape in a collaborative effort to launch Cone Health’s new Office of Experience—an enterprise-wide commitment to designing better experiences for patients, families, staff, and providers alike. As CEO of Cone Health Ventures, LLC, Greg supports a team of entrepreneurs that builds strategic partnerships with early-stage companies. These collaborations generate measurable clinical and operational value while allowing Cone Health to participate in the growth it helps enable. It’s a model that ensures innovation isn’t just adopted—it’s co-created and returned. Greg’s work has helped leaders develop new services for patients and staff, step into new markets, design transformational facilities, and bring clarity and momentum to system-wide strategic plans.
