Welcome to my profile. I am a results-driven and detail-oriented engineering executive with an MBA, BSc in Mechanical Engineering, and 20+ years of experience in mining operations. In addition to the roles detailed in this profile, I have also held substantive appointments at both open cut and underground operations. I am passionate about making a positive difference in my field and have a demonstrated ability to act as a change agent to transform the culture into one of continuous improvement, with a focus on workplace safety, operational efficiency, and cost management. I have a proven track record of working with multiple mine sites to produce best practice strategic mine plans, deliver results for standardization, integrate technical services across mine sites, and monitor KPIs and financial reporting systems to track performance and deliver business value. I am proficient at technical oversight for all engineering and technical services functions at existing mines and new development mines, from exploration to extraction, and processing for open pit and underground mining operations. I know I am only as good as the teams I lead and hence have a passion for training, coaching, and mentoring team members for career growth and success. As a result, I am able to create an environment of cohesion and team spirit with optimal levels of engagement and performance.
