Experienced physician leader and innovator. I occupied leadership positions practically everywhere I worked in three states and two countries, often managing a significant number of providers - from hospital department chair to medical director, to chief of medical staff, to regional medical director. A few qualities I value in healthcare leaders are: kindness, strong analytical ability with even stronger creativity, sense of direction with a vision of the future state, honesty coupled with courage, voracious appetite for learning. Some qualities I don’t: rigidity, desire and willingness to suppress talent, ideological violence, primitivism and demagoguery.I am an avid reader and an inventor (3 US patents, more on the way). My big dream ambition is to transform healthcare from clunky and dangerous to a flawlessly efficient delivery system - it’s possible!
