   My new role as a Business Intelligence Analyst is an add on to the Legislative Liaison and Community Development work that I do, and it fits perfectly. Spending more time analyzing how our credit union members behave has given me a new skill that feeds into our community development strategy and helps to effectively communicate our impact to legislators. • Successfully created a regression model of over 200 profiles and identified several statistically significant variables that can lead to loan defaults. • Communicates to management team a bi-annual presentation on the overall performance of the credit union compared to competitors in our market. • Wrote a successful CDFI grant application that resulted in a Small Dollar Lending award that will help credit challenged families purchase higher priced items for their home. • Created a letter to help communicate changes in Michigan’s unemployment tax-law to 60 clients who had their taxes prepared at FCU’s Volunteer Income tax Assistance (VITA) program.
