Duties included writing piping/equipment specifications, directing/leading a team of designer(s) charged with preparing design, assisting with piping/equipment layout, and review, check, and preparation of piping/equipment layout drawings and piping isometrics. Coordinated with other disciplines to ensure completeness and constructability of design. Also provided pipe support design and pipe stress analysis (hand calculations and CAESAR II software analysis). Other duties included industrial HVAC design projects, engineering design studies, machine design calculations, project budgetary and scheduling estimates, and total installed cost estimates for proposed work.
