Responsibilities include the design, selection, installation, asset strategies, root cause ananysis, turnaround planning, and project management for new and existing rotating equipment. • Provide performance and condition monitoring for critical rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, steam turbines, blowers, etc. • Conduct troubleshooting for rotating equipment failures and lead root cause failure analysis(RCFA) investigations. • Identify cost savings opportunities for rotating equipment and execute projects to implement solutions. Conduct FMEA studies on machinery systems and identify solutions to reduce risk of unplanned shutdowns- Provide work scope and justification for Turnaround work involving rotating equipment. Provide oversight for Engineering Contractors specifying rotating equipment.• Sponsor for the development and implementation across Chevron of a Single Point Vulnerability (SPV) tool to mitigate $55 MM of LPO providing risk assessment and visibility to the highest risk rotating equipment and enabling a standardized Routine Maintenance work prioritization process across refineries.• Sponsor for rotating equipment Community of Practice across the refineries driving reliability improvement initiatives across all sites and standardizing workflows focusing on OPEX and risk reduction. • Strong leader with experience building high performing teams focused on continuous improvement, accountability, and delivering results.
