Director of Minimal Risk managing various asset protection tasks including overseas postings for the FCO, seismic survey and exploration projects, the security operation for the Harewood Estate in Yorkshire. In 2014 I jointly oversaw planning and implementation of the security operation for the Grand Depart of the Tour de France at Harewood House. In 2015 I assumed the role of Head of Security for the Game Fair; this is Europe’s largest Countryside event which changes venue annually. My role in this capacity includes all security planning and liaison with various parties including Local Authorities and the Emergency Services.I lead on various consultancy tasks in the UK and overseas though a mix of undertaking tasks myself or by forming a team of specialists working to fulfil the needs of clients. Areas of consultancy expertise include property portfolios and estates, strategic advice, crisis and emergency planning, food product contamination and threat and risk assessment. Prestigious consultancy tasks undertaken personally for Minimal Risk include a review of property for the Discovery Channel in Moscow, site security reviews across the UK and Ireland for Britvic Plc, penetration tests across 29 high profile properties in the City of London. I worked jointly on a major security review focusing on the threats posed by terrorism and extremism for an major Campus in the City of London with two other consultants.In 2009 I was accepted as a full member of the Association of Security Consultants and completed a Certificate in Terrorism Studies from the University of St. Andrews. I have completed the Public Safety at Festivals and Mass Gatherings Course in 2013 and the Public Safety and Shopping Centres Course in 2016 at the Emergency Planning College. Both these courses focused on critical security and emergency management.
