About Greg Catledge
After decades as an I.T. professional, I hung up the corporate hat to pursue one of my other passions: writing. Since then, I have self-published three novels and several miscellaneous novellas and memoirs. Currently, I am actively working on two more novels. Former I.T. professional with a proven history of using the leadership, organizational, and technical skills acquired during an extensive career to provide businesses with the best possible solutions: solutions that are appropriate, comprehensive, timely, and deliverable and that provide improved productivity and efficiency. HIGHLIGHTS • Over 20 years of experience dealing with vendors, selecting and delivering technical solutions, and supporting technical initiatives. • Proven record as both a manager and a project manager for moving teams forward in providing the business with increasingly reliable and timely hardware and software solutions. • Led initiative to migrate ~3,500 endpoints from Windows XP to Windows 7. Managed attendant budget including new software purchases to handle compatibility issues. • Led implementation of enterprise printing solution which saved annually in printing costs. • Managed selection and deployment of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager to the enterprise to standardize software footprint via tracking and automated delivery
