Spieker Point Inc. has a base web application platform which provides security, user authentication, business process mapping, and a secure data repository out of the box. Based on requirements of the customer engagement, the application reaches into current customer data repositories, and uses analytics to gain visualization of the state of the customer. At the lowest level of sophistication, reports are presented which correlate data from the islands existing at the customer site, giving a holistic view of the company never seen before. The next level of sophistication comes from the analysis of the things going on in the company – based on the data flowing in; showing “why” certain things have recently happened.Still more sophisticated is real-time monitoring of data flowing in, and the implications of that data.The top level of sophistication is prediction. Using historical data to understand situations which will emerge in the future. Having this visualization allows managers to maneuver away from the situation, or towards advantageous situations.
