Time and again, I return to the pursuit of wealth creation through developing new enterprises or catalyzing change processes to make enterprises more efficient and competitive. My significant experience and affinity is working with First Nation governments, enterprises owned by First Nations and Indigenous organizations.In good fortune I am now a member of the Changemakers and the Social Impact Consulting teams. We appreciate each others skills and experience and offer our collective treasure chest to clients for new assignmentsMy background is a senior economic development and business advisory leader with over three decades of experience across Indigenous, public sector, non-profit, and private organizations in Canada and internationally. I specialize in the analysis, design, financing, and execution of complex business opportunities, including feasibility studies, market assessments, regulatory compliance, business plans and operational start-up.I\'ve led the implementation of economic and business plans, sector initiatives, and investment programs at local, regional, and national levels. My work spans clean energy, tourism, natural resources, technology, and community infrastructure. I manage projects from concept through delivery, addressing risk, governance requirements, and multi-party interests.I advise boards of directors, advisory councils, executive teams, and Indigenous governments on strategy, mission renewal, and organizational design. My experience includes recruiting and leading professional teams, setting strategy, and delivering defined outcomes for government, non-profit, and private clients.My career includes senior leadership roles with ChangeMakers, the Government of British Columbia, Indigenous economic development corporations, and international development organizations. I have also founded and led enterprises in advanced technology and consulting and managed large, multi-country portfolios with substantial budgets and staff.I hold a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Arts in Indigenous Governance, and an Associate Certificate in Conflict Resolution. My academic training in economics, politics, law, and governance supports a practice grounded in analysis, accountability, and execution.
