Greg is a results-oriented executive and entrepreneur. In 1995, he founded Employer Services Corporation (ESC), a PEO, HRO, HR Outsourcing firm. He leveraged his strong business acumen to grow ESC organically from a start-up business, one conversation at a time, to an INC 500 business. Greg excels at developing organizational structure, strong operational systems, and highly effective teams. He has used these skills to build ESC internally as well as to create strategic alliances in the local business community that serve to extend the ESC team. In 2017, Greg added Meliora Consulting to the ESC family. Meliora Consulting is a subsidiary of ESC that provides customized process improvement solutions through a team of Six Sigma Master Black Belts. With the addition of Meliora Consulting, Greg has enhanced ESC’s continuous improvement mandate, always working to modify systems and make workflows more accurate and efficient, bringing more value to ESC clients. In addition to his role at ESC, Greg is active in the community. He has a strong belief that cultivating leaders in our communities and providing service to others will build a strong and vibrant future for all. He is a founding trustee and president of the Charles D. & Mary A. Bauer Family Foundation, which supports community service programs and provides philanthropic gifts to organizations focusing on education and arts. He also sits on the board of trustees of the University of Buffalo, currently serving as chairman. Greg’s vision for the business and commitment to WNY serve as guiding principles for ESC.
