Design and delivery of Electron Microscopy STEM education outreach classes for 7\'th - 12\'th graders. Some people say a picture is worth a thousand words. Our pictures are worth at least words.Bring 7\'th - 12\'th graders to a university research center. Guide them through the process of preparing and magnifying their specimen in an electron microscope, select the best imaging detector to take a picture of their sample and use a spectrometer to figure out what it is made of. Students learn to collaborate, classify size, shape, composition of their samples and present results.Add some informal career counseling by talking about STEM careers and salary\'s. Requires \"nerves of steel\" to teach 13 - 18 year old students operation of a half million dollar research instrument knowing that a mistake can easily result in weeks of down time to repair the instrument. The reward of inspiring youth to pursue STEM career paths - priceless
