Topology is a community-driven real estate and planning firm based in Newark, New Jersey. We appreciate the positive value of strong communities and that every community is unique. We start every project with feasibility in mind and always work to define the problems, discover the solutions and design the strategy that best fits your community. Our processes are adaptable and customizable as we recognize no future is certain and there is not a one-size fits all solution.

Greer Reinalda Patras is a licensed planner in the State of New Jersey and certified bythe American Institute of Certified Planners. Greer specializes in combining physicaldesign with community development, and employs this approach for all varianceapplications, redevelopment projects, grant proposals, mapping, and planning studies.Greer’s expertise lies in Municipal Planning and Zoning Board Consultation, where sheoften mediates the seemingly-conflicting goals of Boards, developers, and residents, todevelop plans that simultaneously protect the character of the community andencourage economic development.Greer’s passion is routed in her ability to develop creative design solutions that turn theunique challenges facing our communities, into opportunities. Greer graduated from University of Pittsburgh with a double major in Political Scienceand Sociology, and earned her Master of City and Regional Planning degree from TheBloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University with concentrations in Urban Design and Community Development.
