In my current position, I lead innovative community-building initiatives aimed at creating a cohesive, supportive environment for both new and existing residents. I ensure the provision of a safe and stable living environment by implementing and managing assistance programs, with a particular focus on vulnerable seniors and at-risk veterans facing homelessness.I am in charge of comprehensive budget management, which includes effectively utilizing resources to design and implement programs aimed at instilling a sense of security and belonging among residents. I build meaningful relationships with both residents and staff, encouraging participation and providing guidance, support, and access to community resources.In addition, my responsibilities include organizing and training volunteers, providing feedback, and developing development opportunities. I work diligently with colleagues, community resources, case managers, and healthcare professionals to share information and create support plans, and I extend this collaboration to a variety of community organizations and events.On a daily basis, I am in charge of program preparation and facilitation, volunteer coordination, resident support services, and program and tenant support data maintenance. As a Coordinator and Team Lead, I am responsible for team leadership, fiscal management, site operations, program and service provision standards, weekly inventories, and professionally representing our organization to volunteers, donors, and supporters.
