   Represent the interests of the Delmarva Chicken Association membership and the $4.8 billion broiler industry through engagement with the MD, DE, and VA legislatures and maintaining a network with their members-Monitor/analyze legislation and give comprehensive summaries and position recommendations to the Government Relations Committee-Submit oral and written testimony to committees and work with General Assembly leadership to develop legislation to benefit our members and industry-Present legislative issues and priorities to DCA’s board of directors, legislative caucuses, and affiliate groups-Strategize with other agriculture-focused organizations to form coalitions and organize grassroots advocacy and call-to-action campaigns-Work with state agencies to develop policies and regulations that positively impact our membership and ensure compliance-Organize events for government stakeholders to learn about the poultry industry and interact with membership-Represent DCA on affiliate organizations\' boards and legislative committees to help formulate a cohesive and congruent legislative strategy for our partners.
