Gray Skinner is an attorney turned tech executive. He is best known as the founder and CEO of MasterBorn. The six-year-old, American-Polish software development firm has helped engineer three unicorns — ClickFunnels, Medable and Outside — and scale Fortune 500 companies with software. MasterBorn made its way onto the Inc list in 2024 and 2025, ranking as one of the fastest growing privately owned companies in the U.S.MasterBorn is the product of Skinner’s 20 years of industry experience. Prior to MasterBorn, Skinner was the CEO of Droplr. He steered the Oregon-based SaaS startup through a successful seven figure exit. Before Bend, Skinner served as in-house counsel and Chief of Staff for Bazaarvoice. The Austin e-commerce intelligence company IPO’d in year two of Skinner’s tenure.Skinner’s passion for solving problems extends beyond profit. He uses it to help people. In 2024, Skinner partnered with former Seal Team 6 member Clayton Trammel to launch Privateers.
