About Dan Gray
As the President of FISBA North America, I am passionate about creating and bringing new optical products to life. With over 20 years of experience in developing precision optical systems, I focus on bringing innovative solutions to the biomedical and industrial markets.Before joining FISBA, I founded Gray Optics in 2017, a company dedicated to designing and developing precision optical systems. Over the years, I grew the company from a small startup to a successful 14-person team. In 2023, I sold Gray Optics to FISBA, bringing its expertise into FISBA’s strong network, which helped enhance our capabilities even further.I hold a Ph.D, MS, and BS in Optics from the University of Rochester and a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from GE. My expertise spans optical engineering, manufacturing, and medical imaging.At FISBA North America, we specialize in creating precision optical systems for medical devices and life science products. Our goal is to work closely with our clients, guiding them from the design stage to full production. This approach helps us deliver faster results, reduce risks, and help deliver successful products to the market.
