Launching the national print title in 2012 the magazine has since seen a monthly readership of over readers per month. The freely distributed title has also become nationally distributed in outlets such as VANS, Brewdog, Rough Trade, Dr Martens and more- Editorial & Business Duties: Working with publicists, record labels and management companies to create effective editorial campaigns. Building a strong portfolio of professional journalists and photographers. Assigning briefs, and editing content for both print and online editorial. Overseeing the entire operation, from planning content to actually physically printing and distribution of the title. Building a print readership of readers per month as well as over readers per month online. Managing all social media, and creating strong and strategic marketing campaigns to promote content and build a strong brand awareness. Developing a company house style, and training all journalists to adapt to this. Project management, and overseeing all business affairs. Working with clients such as VANS, Dr Martens, Radio 1 and more to build strong editorial based promotional campaigns. Becoming the official print magazine for three major festivals. Working well under pressure to meet deadlines. SEO management for all online content. Using InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to design all online and print assets. Maintaining all financial accounts, assigning budgets, and working to budgets. Creation and handling of invoices. Overseeing contracts with content creators, journalists, photographers and more. Research on market trends and topics for editorial content. Creating editorial content for the magazine, both as a journalist and a photographer.
