ABOUT PAULINE GRATTIER
Master’s degree in Procurement from France — procurement has always been my thing. I started my career at Safran, in the aerospace industry, working in direct procurement for aircraft parts, before moving to Canada, where I continued in direct purchasing with Héroux-Devtek and Mecaer America. When I joined Canadian National Railway (CN), I made the transition to indirect procurement, focusing on IT. At CN, I’ve had the opportunity to work across a wide range of IT categories, from operational technology and SaaS to licenses, hardware, and services, and I was involved in the HXM project, a major HR IT transformation program. Today, I’m an IT Procurement Manager for Professional Services, with SAP software as an add-on to my portfolio — our largest software provider.What I enjoy most is working closely with stakeholders and vendors, building strong, trust-based relationships, and helping my team grow through coaching and collaboration. I like getting into the details of complex negotiations, developing thoughtful category strategies, and continuously improving processes to create outcomes that work for the business and our partners.
