ABOUT GRANT S GRIFFIN DRSC FRAPS
Currently I am Managing Member at Griffin Regulatory LLC, a regulatory consultancy for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. For the last 20 years, I have lived in greater Chicago and worked in healthcare. For the last 15 years, I have worked specifically in regulatory affairs at large pharmaceutical and startup biotechnology firms in virology, transplant, neuroscience, rare disease, and oncology therapeutic areas.During my tenure at AbbVie, our team obtained approval in 2017 for glecaprevir/pibrentasvir, which was prescribed to approximately patients with chronic HCV in the US between 2017 and 2019. In 2019, our team obtained approval for glecaprevir/pibrentasvir for adolescent patients, and we were nominated for an AbbVie President’s Award. In 2017, I completed a Doctor of Regulatory Science (DRSc) program at the University of Southern California (USC), and in 2023, I was recognized as a Fellow of the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (FRAPS). As of December 2025,~60 students have completed the DRSc program, and ~180 professionals have become RAPS Fellows.
