The $600B space economy has a fundamental problem: there\'s no efficient way to hedge against the operational risks that can crater business models. The orbital economy is expanding rapidly, but the financial infrastructure hasn\'t caught up. We\'re building the layer that enables sustainable capital allocation for humanity\'s next frontier. Our event-based derivatives for Space Weather, Launch, and Orbital Debris gives satellite operators, insurers, and institutional investors the tools to efficiently hedge and capture yield from space risk premiums.Traditional insurance can\'t handle systemic space exposures like solar storms or cascading orbital debris. The space industry needs liquid risk transfer mechanisms, and institutional capital wants uncorrelated exposure to space risk premiums.My background: Institutional quantitative research at Arbor Research & Trading across London and Chicago markets, systematic CTA fund management, exotic derivatives structuring, and frontier markets advisory across space technology, digital assets, and blockchain.
