About Jennifer Deering

I published my first poem,\"The Heartbeat of a Room,\" which was a rhyming observation of my 5th grade classroom, when I was eleven, and from that point on I knew I would be a writer. What I didn\'t know then was that my writing life would take me on many paths: teacher, grant developer, public speaker, networker, relationship builder, and more. I believe writing can change the world for the better, and this is the overarching passion of my life. Whether I\'m connecting people to a vision for the future, painting a picture in words of our present, or telling the story of the past.how we got here.I understand that the words I put down on paper or type on the screen have the power to reach across a great divide to bring us all together. My strengths: writing, editing, research, public speaking, teaching, training, building partnerships (specializing in public-private relationships), strategic planning.
