I run Gabitie. A thriving metalworking business. We can assist clients with the provision of a full range of services relating to steel fabrication, welding and finishing.Design:We have our own in-house 3D design CAD team – who model nearly everything we produce and can offer renders and advanced drawings upon request. This team is also in charge of producing our fabrication packs, instructions, fixing lists and ensuring that the various regulatory obligations of our clients are met, through careful design.Fabrication:Our fabrication shop caters for jobs from small precision engineered components all the way up to a portal frame building and can handle work up to around twenty metres in length. All of our welders and fabricators are fully coded to the UKCA marking of EN1090 execution class 2.Our fabrication processes include:Drilling, threading, punching, tube and section bending, mitre and straight saw cutting and templating.Additionally, we are able to offer formed steel reinforcement bar fabrications for ground works.Sheet Metal:We have a full range of sheet metal machinery and can offer CNC punching, laser cutting and sheet bending, via press brake.We also have our own range of cold rolled framed steel building or light gauge steel framed (LGSF) structures. We also offer standing seam cladding and metal decking for light weight screeded floor solutions, which is suitable for underfloor heating and modular housing.Finishing:We offer shot blasting, powder coating and galvanising as standard coating options on our products. We are also able to offer zinc plating and plastic-coated solutions depending on the size of the component.Delivery:We offer delivery using either our own fleet of vehicles or third party hauliers as appropriate or convenient to the project.Installation:We have an experienced fitting and installation team who are capable and equipped to professionally install all our products.Remote Support:For those that wish to undertake their own installations – we are more than happy to support remotely in any way that we can and have a WhatsApp channel setup – which allows for quick transference of information and pictures back and forth for any site-specific questions about component installation or orientation.
