Funding • Signposting companies to innovation and business investment, loans and grants and identifying funding opportunities for MSIP,• Building networks with funders and investors by demonstrating MSIP’s ability to catalyse company-driven innovation and growth e.g. Innovate UK, Knowledge Transfer Networks, Scottish Enterprise, Angel Investors, venture investors, • Maintaining and utilising databases of investors, investment, innovation funding and collaborative opportunities to demonstrate MSIP value to all stakeholders and drive innovation activities.Partnerships • Building networks to support the development of beneficial collaborations for companies and MSIP,• Developing reciprocal relationships across a network of research-intensive partners that can support company-driven innovation activities e.g. Catapults and Innovation Centres, Universities, Research Institutes,• Catalysing partnerships by providing opportunities to share knowledge and challenges.Business Support • Providing companies with access to professional support and advice,• Extending the MSIP networks across intermediary organisations and stakeholders in order to support company growth e.g. professional advisors, Local Authorities, Scottish Enterprise and Scottish Development International,• Delivering the Michelin Scotland Innovation Parc Accelerator programme including management of the delivery partner, programme design and contributions, targeting company recruitment and ensuring monitoring of all outputs and outcomes,• Delivery of the Michelin Scotland Innovation Parc Innovation Challenge programme including the design of the technical challenges, securing sponsorship, running the open call, assessing and awarding the funding, managing the projects and monitoring the outputs and outcomes.
