ABOUT GRANT STURGEON

GRANT STURGEON is currently a Director of Publicity/Promotions with Sony Pictures, based out of the company\'s Toronto office. A retired member of the Canadian Armed Forces and graduate of Sheridan College\'s Print Journalism program, his early career saw him working for a multitude of entertainment companies including World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), the Toronto International Film Festival and Alliance Atlantis Motion Picture Distribution, before landing at 20th Century Fox. While there, Sturgeon worked on such films as X-Men™, Cast Away and Moulin Rouge. In addition to his accomplished work in marketing, he founded Aurora Borealis Films in 2007, after establishing himself as a producer and writer in the Toronto independent film industry. His producing credits include the web series Red Moon, short films Jersey Road, Prelude (YouTube: Project Direct top 20 finalist), Detour, Shallow Pockets, The Unsaid, I’ve Just Seen A Face, All We See Or Seem and La Fiore, as well as the Jon Levine Band\'s debut music video for \"Happy\" and for the web-based television station Tdot.tv. Sturgeon was also an executive producer on the short films \'106\' and Falling Into At Night.
