As a Quality Engineer I support the Quality Manager in ensuring that the ProjectQuality Assurance requirements are understood and implemented and to ensure thatClient and statutory requirements are effectively met.Provide and demonstrate positive Nuclear Safety leadership, building a strongand compliant culture throughout the whole construction life cycle. Ensure allsite activities are undertaken safely and responsibly.Assist in capturing the changes to Quality requirements in contractrequirements mapping/capture process.Assist in maintaining and updating the Contract Quality Assurance Plan (CQAP)Assist in managing the Quality Management System (QMS) of the projectaccording to the project policy, contract requirements and Dalkia PDSEnsure the communication, training and implementation of the QMS within theproject team.Monitor and measure the efficiency of the QMS and ensure improvement of theQMS throughout the project life.Assist in preparing audit planning, performing audits (including supplierassessment audits), follow up sentencing of findings and progress of actionplans.Co-ordinate preparations for external audits of the HPC project (Companyinternal audits, customer audits, accreditation body audits) and follow upsentencing of findings and progress of action plans.Producing reports and management information, monitor the output and address any issues arising to drive improvements. Leading investigations and implementing effective root cause analysis to enable the identification of corrective actions.Challenging systems, processes and working practices to ensure best practice and continual improvement. Providing process verification support within the quality team to exploit/mitigate risks to processes.Championing foreign material exclusion, preventing ingress or entrapment of non-specified materials, loose items or debris in equipment and systems during assembly and testing.
