As a Real Estate Banking analyst, I support the Real Estate Banking group in the origination of new loans, and management of existing loans related to real estate development, and commercial properties. I also assist the team in supporting other client banking needs. Since joining the team in May 2023, I have honed my skills in market research, financial analysis, risk analysis and underwriting for multifamily, industrial, and office properties. In my role, I support our client executives in pre-screening potential lending opportunities by conducting thorough market research, performing comparable property searches, and completing initial underwritings. My work in credit risk involves assisting in packaging investment pitches for senior approval committees by crafting compelling presentations to illustrate lending opportunities and supporting final credit documentation. I also contribute to portfolio management, assisting in annual reviews for clients, evaluating the financial health of sponsors and guarantors, assessing facility performance. My recent experience includes evaluating loans transferred from an acquired bank, where I performed underwriting, and documentation reviews, and assessed loan statuses.I thrive in client-facing roles, attending events and meetings with client executives, associates, and treasury personnel.
