About Grant Fellows
I am Grant Fellows, a MSBA candidate at the University of Maryland passionate about leveraging data-driven insights to inform key business decisions. Technical Skills & Tools: Python (pandas, MatPlotLib, NumPy, similar libraries), SAP, SQL, Tableau, R/RStudio, Excel (Solver, Pivot Tables,@Risk, PrecisionTree, and other advanced analytical and visualization tools), VBA, Arena Simulation, OpenRefine, HTML, PHP.Some examples of projects I have completed include- Cleaned, analyzed, and visualized a dataset of over data points of startups using Excel, OpenRefine, SQL, and Tableau, deriving indicators of success for VC investment- Surveyed 300+ UMD students to gather insights on student opinion on plagiarism checking software for Cursive Technology- Implemented automated Excel export for Introspecta, drastically decreasing manual input completion times and minimizing human error in data inputs.I am excited for opportunities to not only leverage my existing knowledge of data analytics, but expand my skill set and analytical “Tool Belt”.My time at the University of Maryland has provided me with an introduction to the professional world and developed my skillset immensely. I have had the opportunity to be involved in several clubs and organizations, working on projects that have provided personal growth and positively influenced others. In my time in the College Park Scholars Public Leadership Program, I worked in a team to develop a grant initiative providing the DC Food Project with of funding to expand their donation scope. Through the Impact Consulting Fellowship, I worked directly with the leadership team of a non-profit organization to expand offerings and streamline organizational processes.
