After leaving academia in 2005, I joined J A Kemp to train as a patent attorney. Having qualified and worked for the firm as an Associate, in 2015 I was delighted to become a Partner. In February 2018 I relocated to Paris and was proud to lead the first J A Kemp office in France. I returned to the UK in late 2022 and am now based out of our head office in London, but I am happy that our flexible working policy permits me to spend more time at home near Belfast.
