Base Camp 1 is a priority delivery programme for BT Business which targeted a transformed online experience in a constrained timeline for SOHO customers. The highly ambitious scope spanned both the strategic and legacy stacks, new CX and the introduction of new third party VAS. As the client-side lead for Digital, I worked with colleagues within Business, Consumer and Digital within a highly matrixed delivery environment alongside our consulting partners Deloitte Digital. Base Camp 1 phase 1 went live in early May and will continue to deliver more features over 2 weeks. A post implementation retrospective report with observations and recommendations will be presented in early June to ensure that continuous improvements can be made.
