WORK HISTORY
Senior Data Manager @Bbc Children In Need
Harrogate, GB
Leading the development and application of the BBC Children in Need Charity CRM solution, whilst supporting various stakeholders (including Fundraising, Partnerships, Supporter Care, Operations and Finance) throughout the year, with a continued focus on the the annual appeal season. A key focus for the last 18 months has been the implementation of a brand new Regular Giving CRM process, encompassing existing, new and cancelled subscriptions and all associated payments, as well as developing dynamic reporting, analysis and dashboards for end user review. Substantial data manipulation and cleansing was also required as part of this project, in order to improve and enhance the existing regular giving data to a higher standard. As part of the Insight team, I am also responsible for ensuring overall data quality within the CRM is high quality, to enable the development of data driven insights and analysis (often within online dashboards), to ultimately help drive productive actions and growth in the charities fundraising activities. This also includes reviewing and implementing the charities GDPR Consent capture and Data Retention policies and processes, to ensure they are fit for purpose and consistent with UK regulations. As part of the charities Technology Working Group, my skills and experience are often called upon to ensure alignment of best practices across all of the charities IT systems, as well being closely involved in major technology changes and system procurement. This has included being heavily involved in the procurement and implementation of a new email marketing solution, a new data automation solution, as well as scoping out significant improvements to many of our donation platforms.

ABOUT GRAHAM DOWLING
Highly experienced data and system change manager, with over 15 years of successful stakeholder management, technical expertise, process improvement and a passion for empowering end users to positively embrace technology to make their lives easier and more productive. Confident and engaging communicator with a proven track record of successful customer consultation, user training, system procurement and migration, project and change management, tailored marketing and fundraising campaigns, alongside cohesive internal and external relationship building and supplier management.Quote from previous trainee in feedback questionnaire;\"Really approachable and keen to ensure we fully understood what was being explained. I\'ve had much training on various systems here and at previous places of work and Graham was one of the most coherent trainers I\'ve experienced. Many systems companies send one of the \'techies\' who know a lot about the system but just aren\'t great at explaining things to non-techies. this was not the case with Graham!\"
