Works closely with the Senior Quality Manager to develop and implement a division wide quality assurance program framework. Additionally, worked to develop a division wide risk management program, conduct internal audits to determine process compliance, and develop recommendations for improvement related to identifying and mitigating risk and non-compliance to city policies and legislation. • Created, implemented and maintain a risk management and compliance framework for the division to ensure all processes and policies are adhered to (includes legislative, regulatory and contractual obligations and requirements).• Developed quality assurance framework based on an ISO-9001. This includes implementing an internal audit and corrective action process, as well as a feedback loop mechanism for disputing breaches of contractual requirements. • Manages the planning and execution of internal process audits. This includes scheduling, performing cross function process audits, writing audit reports, and presenting findings to senior management stakeholders.• Conducts reviews of supplier invoices and conducts testing on documentation to assess supplier compliance to contractual requirements. • Conducts employee training sessions on topics related to the quality management system (and other topics as requested by senior management).• Acts as a QMS subject matter expert for both management and employees across Corporate Real Estate Management division. • Contributed to various process improvement activities and process enhancement working groups to standardize and streamline internal processes across the division. This includes standardizing division process documentation and supporting the development of service line process playbooks. • Acts as a liaison for the city’s auditor general, and supports key stakeholders in implementing action plans to address auditor general recommendations directed towards the Corporate Real Estate Management division.
