As Commercial Manager I oversee the commercial delivery of a wide portfolio of projects, from roofing and refurbishment works through to large-scale retrofit and decarbonisation programmes. A key part of my role also involves supporting our work in the fire risk assessment sector, managing projects that include the repair and replacement of fire doors and passive fire protection measures to ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022.Day-to-day, I’m responsible for commercial strategy and project delivery, including budgeting, contract negotiations, reporting, and compliance. I work closely with clients, consultants, and our supply chain to ensure schemes deliver value, quality, and certainty, while also embedding digital tools such as Power BI dashboards and SharePoint reporting for real-time project visibility.Alongside project delivery, I’m passionate about mentoring junior surveyors and supporting their professional growth, helping to build a confident and capable commercial team for the future.

I’m a Commercial Manager with over 20 years’ experience in the housing sector, working across new-build developments, social housing refurbishment, retrofit programmes, and fire risk assessment projects. I’ve managed multi-million-pound schemes ranging from the delivery of brand-new homes to upgrading existing stock with the latest carbon-reduction measures and essential safety works such as fire doors and passive fire protection.At Jackson Jackson & Sons, I lead on commercial strategy and delivery, covering everything from budgeting and contract negotiations through to reporting and compliance.What drives me is ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality and value – while building strong, collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chains.
