Leader of the circa £200m+pa Turnover Services and Support business for UWS. Delivering solutions to support our Sonar, Minehunting, EW and Visual Systems products with the Royal Navy and Export customers. The business includes the Sensor Support Optimisation Programme, SSOP, which will be evolving to the more complex 15 year Maritime Sensor Enhancement Team [MSET] contract in 2024. MSET will aim to \"Maximise Days at Sea\" for our Royal Navy customer as we deliver available assets worldwide to meet their operational criteria. To deliver the availability we will reduce Turn Around Times, Lead Times and Cost. In addition we will manage Obsolescence for all the parts and ensure improved reliability. To achieve these targets we will implement a number of changes to our solutions including investment in the Waterfront, to work closer with our customer and their chosen sub-contractors, investment in modelling and simulation, to eventually predict arisings, and finally investment on our people, processes and tools. There is also strong export business which will benefit from the above transformation and allow UWS to deliver to all our customers high performance support arrangements.
