Graham Duff is one such pilot who flew with the RAF, completing several tours of Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria. Graham graduated top of his flying class and went on to operationally fly a single seat fast jet fighter-bomber. In 2003, he was deployed to Iraq for the Second Gulf War on the ground with UK Special Forces. Graham also completed a 3 year tour – the maximum possible – with the Red Arrows in 2010, as a display pilot and Squadron Leader. He then deployed to Afghanistan with UK Special Forces for another 4-month ground tour. Latterly as a Typhoon pilot, Graham defended the UK borders by conducting Quick Reaction Alert to respond to terrorism and Russian aggression. Graham has also climbed many continental high points, including the summit of Mt Everest, Mt McKinley and Aconcagua. His post-military work as a commodities broker and an entrepreneur make him an authority on the parallels between the battlefield and the boardroom.
