Our current focus is on transforming the packaged ice industry by combining novel production technologies and a decentralized manufacturing model. The Relocalize Ice System eliminates water waste, radically reduces energy consumption and disintermediates the ice supply chain.At Relocalize, we believe that distributed automated food production will transform access to quality products, while significantly reducing both the environmental and economic costs of production and distribution. We intend to prove the model by disrupting the packaged ice industry and eliminating the unsustainable practice of trucking large quantities of wastefully produced frozen water over large distances.
