Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with over 9 years of experience, including 7 years auditing large consumer goods and retail companies across South Africa and the UK. My core strengths lie in SOx and PCAOB audits, IFRS, risk management, and people leadership. Since relocating to the UK in 2019 to expand my international exposure, I have led FTSE 100 group financial statement and SOx audits, expertly managing complex reporting structures across multiple jurisdictions and engaging senior stakeholders in high-pressure, regulated environments.Over the past two years, I’ve spearheaded the development and deployment of AI technology within the UK audit practice, driving innovation in a future-fit operating model. By partnering with senior stakeholders in both UK and Global leadership, I’ve helped embed cutting-edge tools that empower auditors, enhance audit quality, and promote consistency across teams. My work bridges the gap between emerging technology and practical application, delivering tangible value to our people and clients.I am a strong communicator and a passionate, effective facilitator, supporting teams across the UK practice to embrace change, adopt new technology, and build confidence in the future of audit. Whether leading stakeholder discussions, delivering training, or facilitating collaboration, I strive to make complex ideas accessible and engaging.I have successfully led audits through significant organisational, accounting, and controls change programs, consistently motivating teams to perform at their best. I’m passionate about coaching, continuous learning, and creating environments where people can grow.
