My goal as Subsurface Innovation lead on Enverus Intelligence® Research\'s Energy Transition team is to create intelligent connections between the subsurface, emerging energy and carbon innovation technologies. This includes carbon abatement through Carbon Sequestration or CCUS, baseload or load following renewable power generation through geothermal, critical minerals extraction via direct lithium extraction (DLE) and identification of naturally occuring hydrogen and its place in renewable fuels.The world has an abundance of subsurface professionals, expertise and infrastructure. By utilizing these skills and identifying the subsurface opportunities in the energy evolution we can accelerate towards a sustainable future.
