About Madeline Graf

I am a BSN student at Auburn University graduating in May 2026 and will begin my nursing career in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital in July 2026 through their Nurse Residency Program. I am motivated by environments that require preparation, accountability, and perseverance, and I value continuous learning as I develop into a strong and dependable registered nurse. I believe growth in nursing comes from showing up prepared, seeking feedback, and committing to improvement beyond scheduled shifts.My background includes service in the Alabama Air National Guard, leadership in student organizations, and a solid academic foundation in nursing. These experiences have shaped my discipline, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure. During my time at Auburn, I served as President of the Auburn Student Veterans Association, where our team was recognized as Auburn’s Most Exceptional Student Organization on Campus, and I was honored to receive Auburn’s Student Leader of the Year Award in 2025. I was also selected as a finalist for Veteran of the Year through Student Veterans of America. These experiences reinforced my belief that excellence is built through consistency, teamwork, and a willingness to put in the work even when it is demanding.
